Search engine optimization (SEO) is usually portrayed as technical and complex by most internet marketing experts or SEO experts. There are many very simple SEO tips and tricks that can help you get good ranking for a blog post.
- If that keyword has 50-100 searches daily that means a good traffic to your blog daily. Using these simple tricks, many of my blog posts have top ranking for a number of keywords on Google. This gives my blog lots of traffic.
- If you have a blog, then you need atleast 50 posts for blog tricks to work. In the beginning, Google will not take notice. But if you are consistent in posting a least once on your blog, Google will take notice once you have more than 50 posts.
- Google is in love with blogs. Blogs give Google lots of fresh content. Blog posts get indexed on Google much faster than webpages. I have seen that Google indexes my blog post within five minutes. The reason, I post at least once every day.
- Whenever you post on a blog, choose a keyword that you want to get your blog post ranked. The title of the blog post should contain that keyword
- Try to use that keyword in the first sentence within the first twenty five words, the closer to the start, the better. Use the keyword in the blog post a number of times but don't try to exceed more than 4% keyword density. Use of the keyword should be made in a natural manner.
- Use that keyword as anchor text for a link three or four times in the post. Bold the link. Use the keyword in the URL of that post like http:// www. blackitsoft.com/keyword, you can easily do this in both wordpress and blogger.
- In Blogger, you should know that once you have published the post, you cannot change the URL. Blogger chooses the first few sentences from the title to include in the URL. So you should publish the post with only the keyword in the title. Afterwards you can always change the title again if you want but it should still contain the keyword.
- This way you are telling Google, hey this is the keyword for this post. I have used these simple tricks for getting top ranking for keywords having 100,000 to 1000,000 competing webpages.
